My Summer 2020 Learning

My main aim during this summer is to learn and understand how large organizations such as RBC are implementing cloud solutions and agile development in serving millions of customers. And at the same time, grow a healthy network of connections for mentor-ship and future endeavors.

To reach my goals, I have been learning about :

For Distributed systems,

• I have finished courses in software architecture on Coursera

• Learning C# and .NET

• Learning about cloud solutions and preparing for AWS developer associate exam

• Finished Redhat Openshift Certificate

For Product Management

I have finished the Coursera specialization on:

• Software Processes and Agile Practices and planning

• Client Needs and Software Requirements

• Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements

For ML learning:

I have finished a course deep learning :

• Deep Learning

• TensorFlow in practice specialization

For Networking:

• I have been attending all the ti_upskilling and T&O workshops and connecting with the hosts afterward

• Interviewing and having a chat with RBC directors and manager throughout T&O

• Learning about their experience and compiling any advice they provide.
